Mpex Pharmaceuticals has assembled a very experienced preclinical and clinical development team with expertise in developing multiple different classes of antibacterials including fluoroquinolones, beta-lactams, and combination agents (e.g., beta-lactam/beta-lactamase inhibitors). Mpex has advanced its lead aerosol antibiotic product (MP-376) into phase 1b clinical development, and its lead EPIs into early preclinical development.
